Instead of being in some lavatory stall allegedly trying to engage in sexual activity, he should have been in Washington, D.C. engaging in ending this madness known as the Iraq War. To Senator Craig, Iraqi children are dying at the behest of this government and how dare you allegedly engage in this lewd behavior. more »

I truly believe that there are angels walking amongst us here on Earth and in my opinion, Shirley Meyer is one. It takes incredible strength and yes faith in one’s ability to confront powerful forces especially where a child’s life is at stake. In this country, doctors take an oath which states, “First do no harm” and that is precisely what she is doing. more »

It is time for congress to stop lending our tax money to President Bush. Then again, lending may be the wrong word since we will never see that money again. It is being gobbled up in front of our eyes and this congress time and time again refuses to turn off the spigot. more »

Any terrorist that decides to blow him/herself up in a crowded restaurant as was the case in Bali, Indonesia, a subway in London, a busy market place in Israel or fly jets into buildings, in all cases those that took the lives of these innocents are cowards. A brave madman with a bone to pick with those that they are angry with, would decide to take their argument right to the person they have a grievance with. more »

As reported by the BBC, “Maria was paralysed from the neck down by an Israeli rocket attack in May 2006.” The rocket that maimed Maria was aimed and armed and took the life outright of an Islamic Jihad movement. As a result, Maria is now a quadriplegic who is permanently attached to a ventilator. more »

There must be a lesson here when complete strangers will come to the aid of these children of war. They are first brought to our attention by the media and that is when we do react and take a stand against powerful forces that look to rip the humanity from all of us. War after all is as inhumane as it gets. more »

As reported by CNN, “users responded by the thousands to the story asking how they could help.” That is what makes me believe that there is still some good in this world where folks are willing to pay it forward so to speak. It is where they think outside of self. But, more importantly feel outside of self. more »

I would also love to know is there a doctor in the house that can help this little boy since CNN reported, “Doctors told the family there is little more they can do to help Youssif. The family can't afford care outside Iraq.” I do think that this is the least we can do to help this little boy considering what we have done to his country. more »

While many of these deaths may have occurred due to the insurgents we are now fighting, we lit the fuse that created this holocaust. Some will write me angry emails telling me not to even label this loss of life as such, but when you have an astounding number of lives lost; what would you call it? more »

If hindsight is truly twenty-twenty it is my opinion that these Evangelicals namely Baptists bet on the wrong horse if they wanted women home bare feet and pregnant by supporting George W. Bush. They should have backed a man who would have given many women the self-permission and breathing room to stay at home if she believed that running the home was her top priority. That man is former Vice President Al Gore. more »

To these Albany lawmakers, who seek to punish Steve Levy and the citizens of this county, please remember that illegal aliens too need transportation if you are seeking to make their lives better. How about we give not only them, but citizens of this county a bus system that actually works? more »

According to ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight’, “Newark's sanctuary policies protect illegal aliens, even those charged with commission of crimes. Now, one City Councilman is pushing to change the sanctuary policy.” Newark, NJ can certainly use a mayor like the Hazleton mayor, Lou Barletta. more »
