End point to this editorial, instead of mocking a man who just suffered a seizure; how about you take the time to read up on this disease? Epilepsy can strike anyone regardless of who they are and at any time. I am sure that those of us who do live with it would love nothing more than an understanding public. more »

One has to believe that supporters of these ‘lower-tier’ candidates on both sides of the political aisle are feeling great umbrage at these front runners looking to take their candidates out of any debate. In fact, I would suspect that supporters are looking at these front runners seeing the sheer hubris on their part. more »

With President Bush’s approval ratings basically in the dumpster along with congress whose approval ratings are lower that is not the case with County Executive, Steve Levy who enjoys the overwhelming support of Suffolk County residents. more »

Like the drunk driver who kills innocent victims while behind the wheel, both Bush and Cheney have killed close to 4,000 soldiers’, killed hundreds of thousands innocent Iraqis and displaced millions more Iraqis. While the addiction is different the behavior is the same. Lying a country into a war shows an inability to tell the truth and those are the tell-tale signs of a substance abuser. more »

Libby’s impending prison sentence would have been served at a Club Med style federal prison which houses minimum security prisoners. Meanwhile Ramos and Compean are serving hard time in which Ramos is housed in solitary confinement so that other inmates do not kill him. more »
