Maybe if they see us reading more books or even your daily newspaper, something may click. Instead of saying, “Hey, kids do you want to go to the mall?” instead we say, “Hey, kids let’s take a trip to the library.” It couldn’t hurt; could it? more »

If Bush wishes to extend any olive-branch to the people of Cuba, it is up to him to send Luis Posada Carriles packing. It is up to him to extradite Carriles to Venezuela who has consistently called for this action. He does not get to lecture Cubans when we have in our midst a monster that killed many of their countrymen back in October of 1976. more »

We must remember that literally thousands upon thousands of Iraqi children will never grow up. Those within the military who have been killed will never get to see their children grow up. They need adults speaking out for them. more »

I have seen far more graphic photos coming out of this heinous war and you tell me if Rep. Pete Stark should apologize. I think that it is President Bush who owes an apology to our military, those who have died while serving and especially to the Iraqi people. more »

Those of us who do go up against these organizations are the ones truly looking out for the safety and security of this nation as we will equally go up against any terrorist organization like al Qaeda.
