Mejias supports a more pragmatic policy that would include tougher border security and employer sanctions, a guest-worker program and a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already in the country. Many like me have had enough of six years of death, destruction, tyranny, lies, sheer hubris in which the most fragile of our society are left to float down the streets of New Orleans. Can anyone with half a brain tell me why should Americans vote Republican? When God gave us free will, those that suffer from these diseases, their brains are literally held prisoner in a body that will not respond to their free thought. I find letting them be held prisoner by these bodies is truly immoral. Medically, we are being held within our own Guantanamo Bay with little or no rights.   more »
